Float Rooms, Not Tanks or Pods
Many people are only familiar with the old-fashioned, enclosed structures referred to as float tanks or float pods. East Coast Float Spa's modern and spacious Float Rooms bring the future of high-end Floatation Therapy to everyone!
Large enough to walk into, stand inside, and spread out, our custom-built Float Rooms do NOT require closing a lid over-top of you and have automated ventilation systems to remove any concerns of shortness of breath or feeling claustrophobic!
Each Float Room provides the same amazing Float experience, differing only in aesthetics, so you’ll have the same blissful Floating experience no matter which Float Room or which East Coast Float Spa location!
Total Mind/Body Relaxation
While floating is a private, individual experience, we have multiple Float Rooms at our Spas (number varies by location) which are housed within a private Suite with your own shower and changing area (do NOT need a bathing suit). We provide all the amenities you’ll need, and use only natural and organic products, as well as having a Vanity Room with hairdryers for after.
Modern, spacious Float Rooms large enough to walk into and stand inside, with no lid to close over-top of you, and almost double the size of a traditional float tank or float pod.
Post Float Lounge
There's also never any rush to head back out after Floating! Keep relaxing in our Post Float Lounge with our Zero-Gravity Massage Chairs and/or Oxygen Bar, or simply hang out in the calming ambiance and reflect on your Float in our Community Float Journal while enjoying complimentary organic tea.
The high-end Zero-Gravity Massage Chairs are extremely popular and better than anything at the mall, airport, or nail salon. They tilt back past horizontal to remove the pressure from your back and spine, have heat, and adjustable strength and intensity for an amazing better than hands full-body massage.
The Oxygen Bar combines 92% pure oxygen (vs. the ~21% in the atmosphere we regularly breathe) with optional essential oils for a subtle aromatherapy experience. Although there may not be any tangible physical sensation, it’s another great option to keep relaxing and also may help with headaches and migraines.

1) The Guest Experience: We built East Coast Float Spa with you in mind. Everything from the team that will be taking care of you to your experience after you’re done Floating were designed to provide you with the best experience with Floatation Therapy. In fact, we designed our Floatation Therapy center as we would want it if we were the guests, because our friends, family, and community Float here too!

2) Heated Fresh Air Exchange: We utilize a heated air exchange system as well as an exhaust air system that provides you with heated, fresh, non-humid air at the beginning of every Float to allow for easy, comfortable breathing every time. Relax, breathe deep, and let go into your Float!

3) Water Quality: We start with a clean water source, using a two-phase, automated filtration system to deliver filtered water free of all harmful, synthetic chemicals present in untreated city water.
A powerful triple-filtration system including UV sanitation, advanced oxidation, NSF-certified 10-micron particle filters, and skimmers runs automatically using computerized, state-of-the-art technology after each Float.
The nature of the salt itself is a powerful solution that provides amazing protection from pathogens, much like in the Dead Sea (it's called the Dead Sea because nothing can survive!). We also follow strict quality control procedures to regularly test to ensure the effectiveness of our filtration systems and adhere to or exceed all Float Tank Association industry Standards. We take it very seriously so that you can focus on relaxing!

4) Highest Grade Epsom Salt: We use USP-Grade Epsom Salt, considered to be the cleanest and highest quality Epsom salt, per USP (United States Pharmacopeia ) standards. Because your skin regulates the absorption of Magnesium and Sulfate from the Epsom salt, the quality of these minerals is critical.
